The Megger Clamp-On Ground Testers play an essential part in ground testing. Leading by example, Megger provides the highest CAT ratings in the industry for ground testers at IV 600V making the DET series safe to use on any ground system. Unique to the DET series, the Intelligent Data Hold can be initiated before you take a measurement and still be held when you're done! The DET14C & DET24C can induce a test current into the earth systems and measure ground resistance in multi-ground installations without needing to disconnect the ground. As these units are capable of many useful features, they cannot measure the earth's resistivity; there's a difference between resistance and resistivity! To complete a resistivity measurement, you'll need a 4 terminal earth tester like the Megger DET4 series - see 00:40.
