The Fluke Networks MS2-KIT MicroScanner2™ Professional Kit features the MicroScanner2 Cable Verifier, a powerful verification tool designed to confirm basic installation quality of multiple cable types. This updated version of the MicroScanner allows the user to view all key test results such as wiremap, pair lengths, distance to fault, and cable ID on one screen. The MicroScanner2 has built-in RJ11, RJ45, and coax support and both the main unit and far-end identifiers can be used to test telephone jacks, Ethernet jacks, and CATV outlets. The built-in IntelliTone digital and analog toning precisely locates virtually any cable or wire pair, regardless of work environment. Use the digital mode to locate high-grade data cabling (Cat 5e/6/6a) in bundles, switches, patch panels, or wall outlets. Use analog mode on voice-grade cabling (Cat 3 and below), coax, security/alarm, and speaker wiring. The MicroScanner2 also features a rubber wrap-around holster and vinyl carry pouch for convenience and protection.
