DESCRIPTION:

The surface temperature distribution of a human face can be efficiently evaluated using 3460 2D THERMO HiTESTER to assess whether or not further health examinations are necessary. Applications include the prevention of contagious viruses at airports, hospitals, hotels, and other public locations where traffic is high. The human body is normally 1 or 2 degrees higher at the torso and forehead, and cooler at the cheek areas, facts that can be used to make more intelligent conclusions about a person's well-being. Because the response time of the 3460 is 0.5 seconds, note that measurement target must remains stationary in front of the instrument's camera momentarily. When measuring face temperature, set the emission ratio to 0.98.
