"Both products work great, but you must be very careful to get the probe attached properly. Also, the battery life is very short. Since we use these for temporary continuous monitoring applications, we had to modify the units to accept external power. Not hard, but AEMC should have provided this as an option. Also, the "safety banana plugs" require special connectors which are difficult to find and fairly expensive (e.t., pomona 72937 or 72938 at $30-40 each)."
Application: We use these to clip around CTs for electric motor control (VFD Cabinets, MultiLin, etc.) to obtain power quality measurements. We also use the K110 probes to attach to 4-20 mA process loops without breaking the loop.
