The 20MHz 2-channel Extech MS420 digital oscilloscope features an auto-set function that optimizes the position, range, timebase, and triggering to assure a stable display of virtually any waveform. The peak detect function is for 50ns glitch capture XY mode. The scope has five automatic measurements: frequency, cycle, average, peak to peak, and RMS. The Extech MS420 digital oscilloscope performs the following waveform math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide. There is an average mode for smoothing waveforms and persistance mode for observing dynamic signals. It can store and recall up to 4 waveforms and data comes standard with the scope. It features true RMS multimeter functions including AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, diode, and continuity.
