The Yellow Jacket AccuProbe UV has an ultra-sensitive electrolyte sensor, UV light technology, and a Smart Alarm LED indicator to detect HFC, HCFC and CFC refrigerants including the SNAP-approved hydrocarbon blends efficiently and accurately. The AccuProbe UV 69336 leak detector has a sensitivity that ranges from 0.03 oz./year for R-22 to 0.06 oz./year for R-134a and R-1234yf type refrigerants. This Freon leak detector has three selectable sensitivity levels to pinpoint leaks and a mechanical pump that quickly clears the refrigerant from the sensor automatically resetting it to the ambient air. This hand held refrigerant leak detector responds to changes in concentration of refrigerant so if held in one area the sensor will adjust to the refrigerant level in that area and cease to detect a leak.

The audible alert, which can be muted, and the flashing visual alarm indicator at the probe end increases in frequency and duration as the concentration increases. This leak detector is also equipped with an advanced digital Smart Alarm LED display. This feature takes the guesswork out of whether or not to repair a small leak. Unlike the more traditional LED bar graphs that copy or mimic the audio alarm signal, the Smart Alarm digital leak size indicator measures, registers, and displays the leak size independently from both the audio alarm and sensitivity level on a scale of one to nine.

In addition, the leak detector's has a 3 LED UV light system that works with 395 to 415 nm wavelength leak tracing dyes to locate the source of leaks especially the small intermittent leaks that are hard to find. The tracing dyes stay in the system forever so in future service calls it will be easy to scan the system for leaks using the AccuProbe UV light. The 17 flexible probe with a flashing visual alarm indicator at the probe end is easy to use in close areas and easily extended into hard to reach areas.
