Converting 40 kHz ultrasound into audible sound, this leak detector traces compressed air, gas and vacuum leaks from several metres away. In addition, a laser pointer marks the source so repairs go to the right fitting. Over 10 hours of runtime and sound-proof headphones suit noisy plant floors.

Compressed air leaks are invisible, inaudible and expensive. This LD Basic detector converts 40 kHz ultrasound into sound a technician can hear, locating leaks in compressed air, gas and vacuum systems from several meters away and without shutting anything down.
Works in a running plant
Auto-level technology adjusts sensitivity to the surroundings and suppresses background noise, so detection works on a live production floor without manual trimming. Sound-proof headphones and a directional tube isolate the source, and a laser pointer marks it for the repair team.
