SCS 8214 Offers

SCS™ Mats and Runners 8200 Series are soft table and floor mats with a unique three-layer construction. The top layer is durable static-dissipative vinyl, which has sufficiently low resistance to discharge static-laden conductors, yet will prevent the shorting of pins on the backs of printed circuit boards laid on the mat. The middle layer is a highly conductive scrim that provides the main discharge path to ground, and the bottom layer is static-dissipative foam, providing a durable non-skid cushion. Non-standard sizes are available on a custom order basis. Includes one 3M™ Wrist Strap Grounding System 3048 and two Snap Fasteners 3050, installed.

A Better Way to Connect to The Ground

Dome style ground cords are made with a 10mm (0.395 in.) male threaded snap. Dome style ground cords are sometimes called a Floor Mat Ground, but they can be used on workbenches too.

With a screw and washer installed from the bottom side of the mat, it allows the ground cord to be bolted to mat to keep cord from disconnecting.

NOTE: Use a punch or Phillips screw driver to create a hole in the mat.
