For maximum performance in the field, use the RIDGID 48377 918-2 Roll Groover with 1822 Mount Kit. This roll groover features a 2-stage hydraulic hand pump that produces more pressure with fewer strokes. It comes with drive and groove roll sets that can be used to form a wide range of tubing, plus a toolbox and a carriage mount kit for the 1822 threading machine (machine sold separately). With a lightweight body and 1-man setup, it's easy to get started with this roll groover.
