Designed for thermocouple terminations, this Type K female ceramic ultra-high-temperature miniature thermocouple connector pairs a high-purity alumina ceramic body with a -20 to 1200°F (-29 to 650°C) rating. It accepts stranded or solid thermocouple wire with ANSI/IEC color coding for correct connections. Used for connecting thermocouple wire and probes to extension wire and instruments.

SHX subminiature connectors are ideal for use with fine gage thermocouple wires in applications where high temperatures are required. The SHX connector is permanently dot-coded to conform to ANSI and OMEGA standards; for applications such as high vacuum furnaces where contamination would adversely affect the process, USHX connectors are shipped with a removable color-coding dot. Two-piece ceramic construction assures long life, while the oversized terminal screws allow for easy wiring.
