Spring-coiled with a TPE jacket, this Type J retractable sensor cable extends up to 10' (3 m) and is rated for use over -22 to 220°F (-30 to 105°C). It has stranded 28 AWG conductors terminated OST-M Connector to OST-M Connector, color-coded to ANSI standard limits of error. It is also well suited for handheld and bench electronic indicators for portable temperature measurement.

OMEGA Retractable Sensor Cable is color coded and spring coiled, for use with thermocouples, RTDs and thermistors. To achieve a superior jacket construction, OMEGA has employed the latest in jacketing material: TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), a unique family of thermoplastics which exhibits characteristics previously found only in rubber compounds.
TPE is extremely tough and flexible, and has excellent abrasion resistance. Our special construction technique yields an expansion rate of up to 500%. OMEGA's retractable sensor cables are specifically recommended for use with electronic-type indicators, either panel, handheld or bench type models.
