Overview:
The non-contact IR thermometer scan distance is ±1.5" and the temperature reading is easily read on the large LCD screen. The no-touch forehead thermometer has a fever alarm for temperatures over 99.5°F (37.5°C) in the forehead mode. The forehead scan thermometer provides instant measurement readings and is ready to take another temperature measurement when the forehead icon on the LCD screen stops flashing. The Mastercool 52225-MED memory will store 25 sets of body temperature measurements.
When in surface mode, the digital infrared thermometer has a temperature measurement range of -7.6 to 176°F with an accuracy of ±0.5°F.
The battery life is about 3000 continuous readings and will automatically shut off after 1 minute to prolong battery life. The infrared non-contact thermometer easily switches from °F to °C and has an enclosure rating of IP22.
