Balanced hardened edges and a 1/4" (0.64 cm) hex shank make them compatible with both cordless drills and optimized for impact drivers. The split point tip eliminates the need for a starter pilot hole, minimizing walking on the material for a quick startup. Additionally, the titanium nitride coating lowers cooling time, extending the life of the bit for repetitive drilling through tough materials.
