SM482V is the most advanced SMAN digital manifold that now includes customized features providing the ultimate field performance for A/C and refrigeration specialists. It includes three ports for the suction line, liquid line, refrigerant recovery/charging, and one 3/8" (0.95 cm) vacuum port for faster evacuations.
The Fieldpiece SM482V digital manifold has been upgraded for ultimate field protection and long-range wireless communication. The Fieldpiece SM482V SMAN manifold includes a fully rubberized case that seals and protects it from dust, bumps, and light rain, and the heavy-duty hook allows you to hang it in your work vehicle or job site. The A/C specialist can view the calculated target superheat while monitoring, in real time, how their change is affecting actual superheat and subcooling. All measurements and live calculations, such as pipe temperatures, refrigerant usage, and indoor air temperature, can be viewed on the extra-large 5" (12.7 cm) LCD screen or a mobile device up to 1000' (305 m) when connected to the Job Link System App. In addition, when using the Job Link App, work can be documented, and reports can be generated from the smartphone or tablet.
The SMAN 482V includes over 70 refrigerants pre-programmed and a rolling list of the ten most recently used refrigerants stored at the top of the main refrigerant list for quick selection. The current refrigerant is automatically added to this list of ten refrigerants when the manifold powers off. The large 3/8" (0.95 cm) vacuum port on the SM482V Fieldpiece speeds up the evacuation and charging process. In addition, it works perfectly with the Fieldpiece Vacuum Pump models VP67 and VP87 and the Fieldpiece Recovery Machine MR45.
The Fieldpiece SM482V wireless manifold with micron gauge includes some customizable features, such as adjustable auto power-off duration and the ability to adjust the backlight duration. In addition, a technician can set high and low vacuum alarms and select each unit of measurement individually. A Nitrogen Test (Tightness Test) is available to check for leaks after repairs or on new installs before charging with refrigerant. The timer tracks the test's duration, and temperature is compensated with SL temp to avoid false positives.
Add Job Link® System wireless tools to your arsenal and get live readings directly on the SMAN® manifold screen from the Job Link Psychrometers (JL3RH), Job Link Pipe Clamps (JL3PC), and SR47 Refrigerant Scale in addition to using the thermocouples. Place pipe clamps in the perfect location, view live air measurements and calculations while making adjustments, and monitor and record refrigerant weight for precise recovery and charging documentation. Up to nine jobs can be saved to the internal flash drive.
The Fieldpiece SMAN 482 is durable with an impact-resistant case, reinforced hook, and hermetically sealed sight glass, plus water-resistant with an IP55 rating. In addition, the three protected thermocouple jacks have been relocated to the back for additional protection. Note: Fieldpiece SM482V is a direct replacement of the popular Fieldpiece SMAN480V.
