Use the ElektroPhysik 85-809-0023 Paint Borer 518 USB Wedge Cut Thickness Gauge to evaluate coatings on a variety of substrates. Equipped with a 50x microscope and a No. 5 drill attachment, this thickness gauge uses the wedge-cut method to help you test in accordance with a range of standards. Simply drill through to the substrate and count the number of scale marks between the base material and the contrast mark to make your calculations.
