The DENT RōCoil™ Current Sensors, known as “Flexible Ropes”, have been designed for accurate, non-intrusive measurement of AC current, pulsed DC or distorted waveforms where conventional rigid core sensors are unsuitable. This type of sensor may be used to measure AC current over a wide dynamic range and from 20 Hz to 5 kHz. Note: Some applications may require use of integrator/amplifier.
RoCoil CTs are designed for use with ANSI C12 Class meters such as DENT’s PowerScout series meters. They are also compatible with DENT ELITEpro XC meters. This Rogowski-type sensor produces an output signal (di/dt) of 131mVAC per 1000A at 60 Hz (110mVAC/1000A @ 50 Hz). Performance of these CTs meets or exceeds IEEE C57.13 Class 1.2.
These CTs require a customer-supplied integrator/amplifier, such as the one built into DENT’s ELITEpro XC and PowerScout instruments.
Four lengths available: 16, 24, 36, and 47″ (40, 60, 90 and 120 cm).
118" (3 m) leads standard. 16, 24, and 36″ (40, 60, and 90 cm) models available with optional 275.6 or 590.6" (7 or 15 m) leads. 590.6" (15 m) leads require additional lead time.
All DENT CTs are sold individually (not in sets).
