The CPX ultrasonic cleaner is designed for efficient cleaning and sample preparation, offering adjustable degassing and conditioning cycles of up to 99 minutes. Extended degassing supports applications beyond cleaning, including liquid degassing, mixing and homogenization, dissolving solids, cell lysing, and particle dispersion. For delicate components, the unit features selectable ultrasonic power levels, delivering 100% power for standard cleaning or 70% power to help prevent damage during sensitive applications. The CPX also incorporates an energy-saving Sleep Mode, automatically entering standby after 15 minutes of inactivity and reactivating with the touch of any control key. An elevated control tower panel, positioned above and behind the tank, provides convenient access while protecting the controls from cleaning solutions. For easy draining, 0.5- and 0.75-gallon models feature built-in pour drains, while 1.5-gallon and larger models include tank drains with integrated valves. Completing the design is a durable, chemical-resistant plastic housing built to withstand demanding laboratory environments.
Features
Constant activity/power tracking
Automatically maintains the ultrasonic power by adjusting for changes in liquid level and temperature caused by a light or heavy load. This helps ensure more uniform cleaning and consistent performance, even with multiple users or when bath conditions change.
Degassing and conditioning the solution
The degassing period can be set up to 99 minutes. Extended degas time periods allow for "beyond cleaning" applications such as sample preparation, which includes degassing liquids, mixing and homogenization, dissolving solids, cell lysing, and dispersion of particles.
High/low power control
When cleaning delicate parts, this bath allows the user to lower the amplitude of the acoustic energy in the bath: 100% power to the tank for normal applications, 70% power for delicate applications. Manipulating the output waveform in this manner greatly helps to avoid damage to the components in the bath during the ultrasonic process.
