This handheld digital insulation resistance tester incorporates a 700 V AC & DC True RMS voltmeter and continuity testing with a selectable 20 mA or 200 mA test current. It is designed to measure insulation resistance, continuity, and voltage. With a safety rating of 600 V CAT IV and IP 54, it can perform insulation resistance testing at 250, 500, and 1000 V measuring values up to 40 GΩ.

AEMC Instruments 1040 KIT Offers

The Megohmmeter Model 1040 Kit includes a Model 1040 megohmmeter, field case, two color-coded leads, black test probe, two alligator clips, remote test probe, batteries and user manual. The Remote Test Probe (with target light) is used for all measurements. The yellow button on the probe button is used the same way as the button on the instruments. The test voltage is generated when the button is pushed.
