This outdoor air relative humidity and temperature transmitter has an XMTR platinum RTD with a nominal resistance of 1 kΩ to accurately monitor relative humidity and ambient temperature. The transmitter has an output of 4 to 20 mA with ±2% accuracy.

The AcuHUM OAW outdoor air humidity and temperature sensors is IP65 rated and reinforced with a weather shield to protect against harsh weather exposure for more accurate readings. The six-layered weather shield features natural ventilation, reducing the thermal effect of UV radiation, snow, and rain, improving response time, and producing accurate measurement for long-term outdoor conditions. The AcuHUM OAW sensors offer optional thermistor, RTD, or transmitter to provide temperature and RH readings in a single device.
What is an Outdoor Relative Humidity and Temperature Sensor?
An outdoor relative humidity and temperature sensor is an electrical device using digital polymer sensing technology to measure the amount of moisture (relative humidity) and the ambient temperature in the outdoor environment. The sensor transmits the data to a Building Automation System to control economizers, fans, mechanical heating and cooling to provide optimal indoor comfort for occupants and ensure HVAC equipment is running efficiently.
