Description

The new Kestrel 4300 Series Construction Weather Tracker measures and displays evaporation rate - a function of relative humidity, temperature and wind speed. Evaporation rate is a critical environmental indicator that concrete contractors use to ensure they avoid plastic shrinkage cracks in concrete installations. The user simply enters the concrete temperature (obtained via an infrared thermometer or probe thermometer) and the 4300 Series calculates the evaporation rate instantly.

The evaporation rate function makes the Kestrel 4300 Series the ideal wind and weather meter for concrete contractors; however, a long list of weather tracking capabilities that puts instant and accurate environmental data right in the palm of your hand makes this meter extremely useful on any construction job site.

If your job requires you to have documentation on the conditions you are working in, then this meter can do all of that for you. Use the 4300's data logger to document that work was done during the appropriate conditions, then upload the data to a PC with the Kestrel PC Interface. It is also is capable of wirelessly transmitting data to your PC with the optional Bluetooth integration. Just one press of a button and you are transmitting, keeping that important information you are getting now with the advantage of viewing later.

All Kestrel instruments are made in the USA and are backed with a Five-Year Warranty.
