Operating automatically in NTSC or PAL, the 5212 overlays vector displays for 4 signals (3 input channels plus an external reference.) A touch on AUTO PHASE automatically zeros burst to the -B-Y (-U) axis using the reference chosen from any channel or an external reference. Digital phase readout makes it easy to measure precise phase differences between channels. Of particular value is semi-automatic setup for high-resolution measurements of differential phase and gain. Other features include menu selected calibration for signals with or without setup and for 75% or 100% color bars. A +V key inverts -V signals for a less cluttered PAL display. Up to 10 front panel setups may be stored for instant recall and remote control with line select strobe is provided via connection to a 5222 waveform monitor. X-Y operation for stereo monitoring is standard and is accessed at a rear panel connector. FEATURES:
