I think this meter represents a very economical solution for the test I performed. It literally saved me thousands of dollars! A mechanic had claimed to have previously tested all the Static Wicks on the aircraft and was recommending very expensive additional tests and possible modification to the static discharge system to cure the serious problem. of precipitation static (which interfered with radio communications). I found this meter on your website and re-tested every Static Wick on my own. I found that the most difficult Wick to test on the aircraft (At the top of the rudder) was faulty. This was confirmed by another mechanic, who replaced the faulty Wick and cured the problem.
