HP/Agilent 8505A RF Network Analyzer
Description
Measure Phase, Group Delay, Gain, Attenuation, Impedance, Return Loss, S-Parameters, Reflection Coefficient, Deviation From Linear Phase and Transfer Functions over a frequency range of 500kHz to 1.3GHz with the high performance 8505A RF Network Analyzer.
All measured data is displayed on a CRT as well as digitally. The combination of the sweep oscillator and tuned detection system give it a dynamic range of over 100 dB. It measures amplitude and phase simultaneously with a resolution of 0.01 dB and 0.01° respectively. Group delays can be measured over a range of 0 to 80 µs with a resolution of 1 ns. Phase measurements can be displayed in a linear or polar (Smith Chart) mode.
The signal source sweeps the frequency range of 500kHz to 1.3GHz and can be set very accurately using the internal frequency counter. Sweep times can be varied from 10 ms to greater than 1 s. Output amplitude can be adjusted over the range of +10 dBm to -72 dBm.
