Open PositionsGlobal Test Supply (www.GlobalTestSupply.com) is seeking an energetic and detail oriented person to fill a part time position in our warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving and shipping orders, as well as maintaining an organized and clean warehouse. Activities include receiving shipments in our accounting system, packing shipments, creating shipping labels and required documentation for both domestic and international shipments, updating customer management software with tracking numbers, ordering warehouse supplies, organizing inventory, and cleaning the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of shipping/receiving and warehouse activities, have strong organizational skills, will be capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and will be punctual. You will primarily sell to blue chip organizations in the Academic, Aerospace, Communications, Consumer Electronics, Electrical, Government, Manufacturing, Plant/Facility, Telecommunications and Utility markets. Your ability to proactively build relationships with a variety of people on all levels of the customer's organization combined with a strong technical aptitude will determine your success in this role. Responsibilities include compiling and maintaining lists of prospective customers for the purpose of expanding the customer base, developing new accounts, initiating email and telephone contact, and closing sales over the phone. Heavy phone activity including prospecting and follow-up will be required. The ideal candidate has impeccable follow-through skills, strong communications skills, organization skills, is a self-motivated "go-getter" and is financially motivated. Furthermore, the ideal candidate has shown a previous track record of maintaining a sales quota and surpassing company goals as well as a BS degree OR relevant experience. The position is located in Wilmington, NC and offers a salary and performance based compensation structure.
