Series 3 PORTA-VAC with MOLDED PEEK wafer tip VMWT-A, handles up to 4” (100mm) wafers.

This wafer handling tool kit comes with one machined MOLDED PEEK wafer tip. Ideal for handling wafers, disk media or any item that has a flat, hard surface. Easily lifts 300mm wafers. A disposable 9V battery is included. Rear exhaust of the pump air is standard on these units. The OPERATION INDICATOR turns on only when proper vacuum has been established to firmly grip the wafer. The same light flashes when the battery needs to be replaced or recharged. A switch setting on bottom of the tool allows selection of alkaline battery or NiMH battery discharge characteristics for the battery low indicator. A large on/off switch provides easy on/off control. An internal air filter (P/N PV4000-FIL-5) is replaceable from the front of the tool. The Class 1 exhaust filter ensures clean operation. An optional rechargeable battery pack and in-stand charger are also available for this tool.
