The ACL 801 Concentric Ring probe is used with the ACL 800 meter to measure surface resistance per ANSI/ESD STM11.11-2001 and volume resistance per ANSI/ESD STM11.12-2000. Thsi five pound weighted probe is coated with insulative paint and has two concentric-conductive rubber rings at its base.

To measure surface resistivity using the ACL801 with the ACL 800 Megohmmete rplace the probe on the surface to be tested. Insert banana plug end of the coil cords into the concentric ring probe. Insert both coils into the 3.5mm meter jacks of the ACL 800 megohmmeter. Press the test button and wait 15 seconds. The correct temperature and humidity will be displayed on the LCD screen. The resistivity value displayed must be multiplied by a factor of ten to acheive the actual test value.
