The 3M 749 pedestal stand can be used with the 3M™ Wrist Strap Testers 740, 747 and 746. The base plate is joined to the support column by stainless steel bolts and has insulated washers to keep the operator from bypassing the ground wire and creating an electrical short. This feature helps guard against a false reading by creating a second path for the circuit.
